Trip Notes:

  • This is a staff chaperoned trip designed to encourage students to learn independence in a safe environment.  It is also an excellent way to display our school anchors in the real world, as well as expose students to other parts of the country, different cultures, as well as new and unique experiences. â€‹

  • Your child must be eligible per the family handbook to participate. â€‹

  • Electronic Policy: Students may bring cell phones for the purpose of calling home in the evenings. Outside of this, phones are not needed during the trip. If brought, phones will be collected by room chaperones and returned each evening for students to check in with a parent/guardian. Students without a phone may use a hotel or chaperone’s phone to call home. Chaperones will have phones available at all times and can be contacted if needed. Students bring phones at their own risk. The school is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged devices. All school technology policies apply—misuse, including social media use, may result in confiscation and disciplinary action.

  • Students will be given an allotted amount per meal ranging from  $10-$25 for their food/drink depending on the restaurant. Should the student wish to eat anything that exceeds this amount the family will be billed for the difference.

  • Additional money will only be needed for snacks between meals and souvenirs, should you choose to send any. Note Great Wolf Lodge does not accept cash.

  • Custom NCCS clothing will be provided for students to wear on the trip.

  • Any major medical/travel concerns need to be put in writing and given to Aubry as soon as possible.

  • All medications that need to be issued while on the trip need to be put in writing and given to your child’s room chaperone. Chaperones and room assignments will be announced at the mandatory meeting.

  • If your child is not attending the RLC Trip, they will not attend school but they will be required to do a project, which is outlined in the family handbook.
